How to Dramatically Improve Your Kitchen in 5 Simple Steps

There are many of you who are putting up with your existing kitchen interior & are not entirely happy with it. It’s been far too long since you updated it but you don’t want to completely re-design it from scratch. Below are some of my best tips & tricks to spruce up your kitchen in 5 simple steps.

1) Add or change your lighting: Many outdated kitchens are made worse by gloomy lighting solutions or low hanging overhead fixtures. If your kitchens the same, change it! Switching out a light socket & fixture is a lot easier than it sounds & is not expensive.

You can also find modern & vintage fittings on Etsy that will transform your kitchen into a new world of light, style & sophistication.

Another nice touch is to include some slick under-cabinetlighting. Most of the time this can be achieved by pinning some LED lights under the overhang of any cupboards in the kitchen.

2) Add a Coloured Splash Back: By far my favourite touch to a new kitchen is the splash back glass that surrounds the countertops & oven/hob.

Don’t be afraid to use a bright colour as when they are used tastefully your kitchen can transform from a hideaway whilst cooking to a place to welcome your guests & entertain the family.

3) Renovate your kitchen appliances: It’s not just the aesthetics that need to be looked at. You need to make sure that your appliances are functional.

Service Force are the official repairers of all of your Zanussi, AEG & Electrolux appliances. Every year, I Like to get them in to give my kitchen appliances a once over & fix everything that is broken. After all, a kitchen isn’t a kitchen without your main appliances working.

4) Add more storage space: Having more storage in the kitchen isn’t just great for organisational purposes, but also it makes everywhere look less cluttered. A cluttered kitchen in my eyes is a messy one and just means there is more things for dirt & grime to get stuck behind!

You can add some simple box cabinets on spare walls or additional shelving in already existing cupboards. Wire shelves and under-cabinet baskets are also a great way to make sure you're using all the space available in your cabinets, fridge and freezer.

5) Cover up your countertops: Now I don’t want to tell you that a new countertop is necessary to improve your kitchen as they are expensive and not so easy to replace. Instead I want to simply improve what you already have.
Chopping boards are a great way of breaking up your newly clean and spacious worktops. They are also very functional and come in a range of colours & sizes.
These 5 changes will transform your kitchen from an outdated eyesore to somewhere that is usable & an enjoyable environment to cook, entertain & chill out.

  2. For me, attempting to do an excessive amount of inside the little bowl and one time cause this issue to happen. This food processor can't handle an excessive amount of liquid. In case you have to manage large volumes of liquid, a blender may be a much better selection for you. Do consider the Braun food processor, which can deal with a lot more liquid.portable dishwasher reviews
