Rodial Stem Cell Products Review

When it comes to skincare, I like to stick what I know. My skin isn’t sensitive but it doesn’t like it when I try 100 new products a month. I get breakouts quite often if I use too much skincare so I tend to stick to a gentle cleanser and the odd face mask and maybe a serum, depending how dry my skin feels. When I was asked if I’d like to try some of the Rodial Stem Cell products, I was a little hesitant as I’ve not heard a lot about the range but I gave it a go and I am so happy that I did!

There are 7 products in the Stem Cell Super Food range in total and I have been trying out 3 of these:

Stem Cell Super Food Cleanser (£32.00)*
Stem Cell Glam Lip Balm (£19.00)*
Stem Cell Super Food Glam Balm Multi (£35.00)*

I’ve found no faults in any of the products so far and I’ve been using them on a regular basis. I’ve actually nearly used all of the Lip balm - I love it that much! Before I delve into the review though, let me explain whole ‘Super Food’ title... It basically means that within the products, they include the really good things that actually work to make your skin better, actives such as Omega 3,6 and 9, Marula Oil and Vitamins A, B5, C and E. You can find out more about the brand here.

Up first is the Cleanser - it may seem quite expensive at £32.00 but you get a lovely, soft muslin cloth with this too and it’s also a pretty hefty tub that it’s going to last you a while! The cleanser itself is a really creamy formula, not too thick but once you apply it to your face, it softens and blends in perfectly. It helps break down eye and face makeup brilliantly but doesn’t remove it completely so I find myself just having to remove excess with micellar water and a cotton pad. It definitely leaves your skin feeling soft and if you follow it up with the Glam Balm Multi, you’re onto a winner!

Next up, is the Glam Balm Multi, a product that you can use for so many different things - it’s so versatile that i’ve used it as primer, moisturiser, hand lotion, high intensity night cream... The list goes on! There is actually a little leaflet inside that gives you 100 uses for it so initially, you’re getting 100 products in one! All of the Stem Cell Super Food products have a very subtle Rose scent, something I wasn’t too sure on as I don’t like Rose but it makes the products smell amazing, especially the Lip Balm.

Last but definitely not least is the Glam Lip Balm. This has to be one of my favourite products this year! The pot looks tiny but it’s bigger than a vaseline pot so you do get quite a lot of product. Applied best with your finger, I use this morning, afternoon and night, whenever my lips are dry and chapped and for when I can feel the corners of my mouths beginning to crack. Because of my brace, my lips get so dry so easily and this lip balm has seriously been fighting that and keeping it at bay. The Rose scent is just enough and not too much and it gives a shine to the lips when it’s first applied. I find that it doesn’t sink into your lips too quickly either so you don’t have to apply every half an hour. For £19.00 it is a little steep but if you suffer with dry, chapped, flaky lips then you need to invest in this beauty. I know I’ll be getting another pot when this reaches the end!

Overall, these products have seriously wowed me - Something that doesn’t happen very often. They haven’t been chucked to the back of my ‘to try’ drawer or shipped off to a friend, they’re staying put and being very much loved every day! I’d love to try a few more of the Stem Cell Super Food range and you can see more products from them here!
