The Library of Fragrance

Inspired by real life scents, The Library of Fragrance* is a collection of all of your favourite smells but in a bottle! Being established for just under 20 years has given the creators plenty of time to come up with these fabulous scents that we all know and love and I have to say, I love the whole idea around it. Each bottle can be worn alone or teamed with another scent - things that you’d normally have together to get a gorgeous smell like Apple Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream and more unusual scents like Rain and Fireplace. They’re all a little odd but thats what I love about them!

The collection has some super strange scents (Sawdust, Playdoh, Tomato to name a few) but some gorgeous ones too (Sunshine, Orange Blossom and Gingerbread) and a few limited edition Christmas Scents are now available at Boots! To help you create your own Library of Fragrance, you can currently buy 2 for £25.00 at Boots or they are £15.00 each.

I managed to get my hands on a few; Vanilla Ice Cream, Peach, Marshmallow and Fireplace. Fireplace and Marshmallow work together so well but not so much alone, although Marshmallow is super sweet and a perfect room spray. Vanilla Ice Cream and Peach are both really sweet smells and again, work really well together. I’ve found that you have to give them time to settle too or else to smell can be a little overpowering! The packaging is super simple but chic, the square glass bottles means they store well and aren’t bulky like some other fragrances I own!

I love these fragrances and I’d love to get my hands on some more unusual scents. What scent would you go for if you could choose one or two? Available here

  1. I saw these around a couple years ago & fell in love! They have the most amazing scents and SO many of them haha. Marshmallow & fireplace sound like my kind of duo! x

  2. These kind of sound like the perfect Christmas presents...a marshmallow perfume?! haha! I love how quirky these are and the packaging is really nice too!! :) xxxx

  3. I love this idea! The Orange Blossom scent sounds amazing and the bottles are very cute. I like the idea of mixing scents together for something really unique too.
