A few weeks back, Me and Adam headed down to London (Camberley) for the weekend as a treat for his birthday. Whilst we were down there, we had tickets to attend the Red Bull Air Race Championships at Ascot Racecourse and we also went to Thorpe Park!
The Red Bull Air Race is a Worldwide event that brings Air Racers together to compete for the ultimate Air Racer title. It involves a minute or so course to fly, yes FLY through in little aeroplanes. I won’t go into too much detail as i’m not that clued up on it myself, I just know that it was amazing to watch and some of the stunts that were being done by other aircrafts in the break were amazing!
We saw a Chinook (one of those massive double propellor helicopters) rocking back and forth in midair, hanging at 90degree angles and also wing walkers balancing on 1 leg 200ft in the air! It was an amazing day and Ascot itself is so beautiful. I’d love to go back for another event, although the £12.50 price tag for a glass of Pimms shocked me...
