The Perfect Wedding Venue

Everyone seems to be getting engaged this year. Last year it was babies, this year it’s weddings! But for that big day, everything has to be perfect, right!?

With so many venues offering so many different things, it can be a bit of a struggle picking out the best for you. Taking so many things into consideration i.e. family, religion, budget, personal taste and the overall experience you want from the day. A traditional church may be the ideal day for some whereas a field with a blazing hog roast may be better for others! So, i’ve put together a list of ideal venues for those of you planning your big day up north, down south and here in the midlands!
North
Ox Pasture Hall Country Hotel is the perfect Wedding Venue in North Yorkshire if you’re looking for rural, beautiful countryside then this is for you! 'Set in 17 acres of picturesque and secluded grounds, this unforgettable luxury country house hotel in the magnificent North Yorkshire countryside, will provide the perfect backdrop to your weddings celebrations’ It can host a wedding breakfast for up to 150 guests and is licensed to hold civil partnerships and wedding ceremonies too! With the ability to hold inside and outside weddings, whether its a Christmas theme or summer vibe you want, they can cater for pretty much everything! You can fill out an enquiry form here if youd like to know more!
South
Pennsylvania Castle is the most extravagant, luxurious venue in the south west of England. With breath taking views and the chance to honeymoon in their sister hotel over in Australia, it’d be the perfect wedding for anyone seeking luxury and a real splurge!
Midlands
With so many wedding venues scattered around the lovely Derbyshire dales, city of Birmingham and in the many Castles spread across the county, it can be a tough call but one for the modernists is the Custard Factory in Birmingham. Known for its unique office space open to all sorts of companies, the space can also be cleverly used to transform into the perfect venue for that special day.

So, no matter where you’re from, I hope that there are a few ideas here that can spur on your search for the perfect wedding venue!
(I’ve still got a while to go before I start looking for mine I reckon! ;))

  1. The Custard Factory looks so cool! I found picking a wedding venue so hard, until I actually went and looked at them in person. The one we thought we would go for was lovely, but then after that we saw another and it was so lovely I cried! That was the one. x
