Elemis has to be one of my favourite brands when it comes to skincare but not for the day to day things, more for the luxurious, pampering products.
I had a bit of a pamper day last year for my birthday and it included a facial with the use of Elemis products. I got given a few little sample sachets to take away with me of the products used but the one I loved (the face mask) they never had any of and when I came to think of the name, I couldn’t remember it for the life of me! So, I emailed the lovely Jennie over at Elemis PR and she told me exactly what it was and sent me a bottle over - how kind of her!?
Elemis is used in so many Salons and is the leading Spa brand used by over 6million people per year! With products ranging from skincare, body care, facials, moisturisers and beauty accessories, there is always something to try - even if you’re an Elemis lover!
The Papaya Enzyme Peel* is used to regenerate the skin, rehydrate and nourish it when it needs it most. It smells absolutely incredible and the smell is by far my favourite thing about it! The consistency applies thick and cream like and sits on your skin so well - you definitely know you’ve got a face mask on. It doesn’t go hard or crispy, it literally just sinks into your skin slowly over 10 - 15 minutes. I try and use it once a week and I reach for it if i’m in need for a more in depth facial rather than just using a quick mask or cleanser. Simply apply a thick layer on clean, dry skin and leave for 15 minutes then wipe off with a clean, warm cloth and dab with a towel. Allow your pores to close before applying a moisturiser.
You can buy the Papaya Peel here for £29.50 or from Spas that stock Elemis products. It’s definitely become one of my favourite products of this year and even though i’ve used it 6 or 7 times, it lasts and doesn’t seem to go down so it’s worth a splurge if you’re in need of some skin loving care!
