Seventeen Phwoarr Paint

It’s been a controversial product I must admit, with some Bloggers loving it and others really not feeling it. I can completely see why but in my opinion, I absolutely LOVE it!

Seventeen has been one of my favourite high street brands for a good few years now. It was one of the first brands I bought from when I started buying my own makeup and has been like that ever since. I’m a huge fan of their foundations, with a blog post yet to come on my most favourite, and their Mascaras are equally as good as any other high street brand. I think over the last 2 or 3 years, they have really grown and have produced some amazing products.

As it states on the pot, it is a HEAVY DUTY under eye concealer and that is exactly what I use it for. I suffer with dark under eye circles and they are worse when i’ve had a bad nights sleep so using a good concealer is a must for me on most days. Phwoarr is perfect for me as it is really thick when applied but creamy enough it blends out evenly. I use a stippling brush to blend mine out or if my dark circles are a little worse than normal, I pat in with my ring finger so it doesn’t get blended in too much. I also find that applying before foundation gives me better coverage but you could always apply after!

In the pot is a tiny but brilliant mirror and I find it really hand to apply using this as I can get right up to my eye rather than sitting a foot or so away from my larger mirror. I think one of the only things they could improve is the shades the concealer comes in. At the moment, there are only 2 shades available - Fair and Medium - and for me, it’s not a problem as fair suits me perfectly but I can imagine for a lot of girls out there, those shades just don’t suit their skin so instantly rules them out to be able to buying it.

For £5.49 you really can’t knock this concealer and it’s available online or at any Boots store. I bought Fake up a few months back and actually find myself reaching for this more than I do that! If like me you suffer with dark circles, I really recommend you grab yourself a pot of Phwoarr if you haven’t already, i’m onto my second pot already!!

Have you tried Phwoarr Paint? What did you think!?

P.s. Have you entered my Big Christmas Goodie Box Giveaway!?

  1. I haven't tried it yet - I'm using the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer which is excellent under the eye, but this is definitely an option for when it runs out :o). Xx
