ScareDoo* Review

We've all seen and heard the craze of Tangle Teezer brushes which I am yet to explore... But last week, I came across the brand 'Scaredoo' on Twitter and they were kind enough to send me one of their brushes which aren't even out to buy yet!

"Scaredoo® brush will take out all of your knots and tangles with no pulling or damaging of the hair, keeping it in excellent condition and reducing split ends. After the de-tangling you can use the new “flip & finish” system on the brush by turning the bristles over in one easy click to reveal a fantastic paddle brush to style your hair to perfection, exactly how you like it. Perfect hair, anywhere!"

Scaredoo is made for all them horrid knots and tangles our poor hair suffers with and I for one get so many knots when I have had my hair up or when I come to brush it after washing.

As you can see, the Scaredoo has 2 different sides; one for detangling hair and the other a smooth paddle brush made for styling and smoothing out hair. I used this for the first time after my hair had been up all day and I was really impressed with how well it worked. Normally, I would hold my hair at the root and tear away at it until the knots had come out but i'd be left with so many split ends all over my hair that I wouldn't want to brush too much.

When using the Scaredoo, the grip is good but it's a little strange not to use a handle when holding a brush - I think maybe if it had a handle (detachable) it would be a little more normal for me to use, but this is just personal preference. The size of brush without a handle means it is easy to carry around without bulking out your makeup bag!

I'm so glad that I got the chance to try out a Scaredoo and they are available to buy from June 2013. Check out the website for more information.
